Description

These 26" microfiber pads are specifically designed for use with the Kaivac Autovac System.These pads are equipped with color coded tabs to help reduce cross contamination in your facility. Simply cut off the colored tabs you do not wish to keep and the remaining tab will denote the specific area in which that mop pad is to be used.

Folding Mop Holder (microfiber pocket style) head attaches to a telescopic aluminum mop handle which can be adjusted to the operator's correct height. The flat mop holder accepts pocket style mops that quickly attach to the frame. Simply remove the mop from the "charge" bucket and place the frame onto the mop and "snap" it closed. It's that easy.

With Kaivac's new Smart Floor Pad, you have access to a four color coded microfiber system. Each pad comes with four colored strips - red, yellow, blue, and green - that allows you to select the color you want for the particular application. This means you can purchase a single item and still have the flexibility of four unique color-coded pads. You avoid having too little inventory of one color, or overstocks on another.

Why Color Coding?

A color coded cleaning system lets you better organize your workforce, whether by location, project, cleaning application, area or zone. This way, restroom pads don't get used in the kitchen by mistake, giving you better results, with less risk. In addition, color coding allows you to:

The Pocket Style mop holder system is designed to allow the user to place the mop head on the frame and remove to the laundry with No Handling of the soiled mop. The microfiber mops are secured to the frame by two pockets and a clip. The frame is 'broken' by pressing a button with the foot and the mop remains attached until a small clip is released.

Step By Step Instructions (pdf)

Fill solution bucket with a proper cleaner or disinfectant detergent.
Place mops microfiber side face down in clean bucket (orange).
Pour solution back and forth over mops.
Place lid on bucket, making sure seal snaps in place on all 4 corners.
Flip bucket over and let it sit for a minimum of 10 minutes place on 4 corners.
Place bucket on trolley along with dirty bucket.
Collapse frame by pressing button, line up edges of frame in front of opening of pockets and press firmly to "snap" frame into mop.
Clean the floor.
Hold mop & frame above waist level, push button on frame to release bottom of mop. Place mop and frame in dirty bucket and pull frame away leaving the dirty mop in bucket.

*On average - a pre-treated flat mop has the capability of cleaning between 500-750 square feet of flooring before it's time to either re-treat or place in the discharge bucket. For healthcare facilities it's a recommended practice to use one mop per room. This greatly reduces any change of cross contamination.
