How to prep a Lambswool Pad prior to use:

1. Immerse the lambswool pad in a paint pan filled with mineral spirits for 5 to 10 minutes. This allows the lambswool pad to be more absorbent and help it spread urethane evenly.
2. Remove the lambswool pad from the mineral spirits and wring it out, allow the pad to remain damp but not soaked.
3. Install the lambswool pad on the applicator head by loosening the two wing nuts that hold the two pieces of the head together.
4. Wrap the lambswool pad around the bottom part of the head so that the wool is facing out. Make sure there is an even amount of the pad overlapping the top of the head on both sides.
5. Place the upper wood block onto the bottom block, sandwiching the lambswool pad between the two parts. Tighten the wing nuts to secure the pad in place.

How to apply finish with a Lambswool Applicator:

1. Open the container of oil base finish and pour it into a paint tray.
2. Dip the bottom of the lambswool pad into the finish. Drag the pad lightly across the edge of the paint tray to remove excess finish from the pad.
3. Place the lambswool pad on the surface of the wood and begin applying the urethane in long, even strokes going with the grain of the wood. When the finish becomes uneven, dip the pad back into the tray and re-wet.
4. Continue applying the finish until the entire surface of the wood is covered.

Directions:

• Clean bucket and wringer.
• Wet mop - Rayon or Floor finish mops both work well (these mops will leave more product on the floor)
• High-speed floor machine (burnisher) 1500 -2000 rpm
• Floor pads: Select from any of the light-medium aggressive Natural Blend Hair pads.

• Fill Mop bucket with 1 gallon of cold water. (If unsure of amount, use an empty gallon container to help measure.)
• Squeeze Top Guard bottle to fill the chamber with two (2) ounces of Top Guard and pour into bucket.

• Squeeze Top Guard bottle to fill the chamber with one (1) ounce of Top Guard and pour into spray bottle. Fill spray bottle to top with cold water.

• Damp Mopping: Wring out the mop well. Top Guard should be applied to the floor a bit thinner than a coat of floor finish.
• Spray Bottle: Slowly swing your arm from side to side spraying Top Guard from the bottle in a stream (not a spray). Do not worry about applying Top Guard evenly, the floor pad will spread the solution evenly over the floor when burnishing.

Burnishing Instructions

Top Guard can be burnished Wet or Dry! When Damp Mopped, allow approximately 1 minute for Top Guard to begin to dry and burnish while still damp for best results. When applied via spray bottle, begin burnishing immediately after Top Guard has been applied to the floor. *Take your time when burnishing for the first few times for a stronger, deeper shine.

Things to Look for While Using Top Guard

Top Guard enhances the slip coefficient of the floor. Walk on the floor while it is wet and take note of how non-slip the floor appears. When dry, test the slip resistance of the floor ...... Incredible. Make special note of the gloss. It's deep and water clear, not hazy like polymer based restorers. Top Guard is the only Finish Enhancement product that eliminates the dust created from burnishing (even with propane). Remember to look at the bottom of the floor pad. There's no white ring, no build-up. The finish that's on the floor stays on the floor.

The Alpha VSP (variable speed polisher) Wet Polisher has new features to perform above and beyond your expectations. The VSP-320 includes a variable speed control switch with an automatic speed feed-back system to maintain consistent RPMs with or without a load.

The switch has also expanded the usable RPM range from 700 RPM to 2,800 RPM. The RPM range reduces heat build-up when polishing Engineered Stone, which eliminates burning or scorching the work piece. We added a Splash Guard that can be trimmed to adjust the height for the best comfort and protection. Directions:

Easy Gloss Floor Finish Applicator System

1. Prepare floor surface for coating.
2. Using the trigger at the top of the handle, depress to dispense a 4" puddle of floor finish onto the floor surface.
3. Applicator system will utilize the same application approach as conventional floor finish mop. Move applicator pad into the "puddle" to load the pad for initial use.
4. While moving applicator to new floor areas, dispense finish periodically and use U-shaped motion (section applications) as with conventional floor coating procedures.
5. Move at an even, uniform pace. Keep floor finish applicator pad uniformly wet with floor finish for proper coverage from one section to another.
