Rayon Mop Yarn is superior in absorbency and does not require a break in period. Rayon yarn is also more bleach and mildew resistant than cotton yarn. Rayon is more durable because it is produced with 100% long staple synthetic fibers.

• Rayon mop heads have quick absorption, mildew resistance, and tensile strength; excellent for floor finish application
• Quick drying yarn resists mold and mildew. 4 ply is perfect for general mopping

When would you want to use a Rayon Mop?

Rayon mops serve a unique purpose; they will not completely leave a floor dry. Rayon fibers absorbs water fast but will not hold it like a cotton blend or microfiber. When applying floor finish or germicidal detergent, you NEED to leave product on the floor and this is where Rayon is your first choice. If you need a floor to dry FAST, choose either a cotton / rayon blended mop or a looped end microfiber mop.
