This plunger has an extra flap of rubber (the flange) around the cup. The flange allows for a complete seal to be created over the toilet’s trap (curved opening). This allows the plunger to create the necessary suction to complete its task.
Directions:
How to use a plunger:
- Align the plunger cup over the bowl drain.
- Push down slowly, this will compress the cup of the plunger and form a vacuum needed to pull the clog up.
- Once the seal is made and the cup is compressed, with one quick pull upward, try to pull the clog out.
- Repeat until the water goes down. Depending on how heavy the clog is, it may take several attempts to finally get it free.
- After use, rinse with water and disinfect.
