For heavy duty jobs, you're going to need a heavy duty cleaner. The calcite based non-chlorinated formula is effective on a wide range of surfaces, including: chrome, porcelain, ceramic tile, and other durable surfaces. A great choice when formulas with chlorine or ammonia aren't suitable.

This universal pad centering device is designed to be used on most floor machines with either clockwise or counter clockwise rotation. It will also fit onto most pad drivers and accommodates nearly all floor pads.

On-Board Battery Watering System - The same type of battery used in golf carts, RVs, and small solar systems can now be used to efficiently power floor scrubbers. The superior features include patented manifolds, standard flame arrestors, three port swivels, clampless polypropylene tubing, and easy install winged caps. The system works by replacing the battery's existing vent caps with valves connected by tubing that allows users to fill all cell of the battery from a single location. Battery Watering System Benefits:

A properly watered battery lasts longer and performs better. Overfilling a battery results in a loss of acid, while too little water will result in permanent damage.

Packaging

We offer two types of battery watering systems specifically for Trojan brand batteries. #1359500 is designed specifically for the Trojan J185 series battery. This is a 12-volt deep cycle battery consisting of 6 fill caps per battery with most automatic scrubbers having two batteries - this requires a total of 12 fill caps. #1359500 contains everything you need for a battery operated scrubber containing (2) J185 batteries. #1359510 is designed for Trojan 105/135 amp hour batteries (27 TMX & 30XHS). This is a 12-volt battery with the large plastic venting cover over the top of three cells as opposed to a single cell cap. #1359510 simply replaces the plastic cover plate with a set of (3) fill tubes and the correct length of hose.

Both battery watering systems include the necessary fill tubes, battery connection hose, water fill hose, quick connect and portable hand pump.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I fill my batteries Watering intervals are dependent on the local climate, charging methods ,application, and age of batteries. Flow-Rite recommends that new batteries be checked once a month and older batteries be checked weekly until you get a feel for your water consumption rate. Typically for a heavy-use application, we recommend watering a maximum of once per week, and for light-use applications once per month. Generally it is best to water on Wednesdays for most applications. Specifically you should not water a battery that has been sitting for an extended period of time with no activity (non use or not on charge) such as a battery that has sat over the weekend. How long does it take to install a Pro-Fill kit? A typical installation will take an inexperienced person on average 5 minutes per battery. Do I need to remove the Pro-Fill system from my batteries in the winter? No. Your Pro-Fill system is designed to be left on your batteries while your vehicle is in winter storage; however, the system will not be operational while it is frozen. If you have vehicles that are taken out of service or put into storage fora period of 6 weeks or longer, your single point watering system will require seasonal maintenance. No special steps need to be taken for winterization of the SPW system that is mounted on the batteries; however, the following steps need to be followed when bringing your vehicle back into service: After the batteries have been fully charged / equalized, connect the system to its water supply for 3-5 seconds then disconnect regardless of whether or not the batteries are completely full. Return the vehicle to its regular service. How many batteries can I fill at one time? You can fill a total of four 12-volt batteries, or a total of eight 6-voltbatteries or a total of six 8-volt batteries or any other combination of batteries up to 24 cells at one time. When is the best time to fill my batteries? Water must always be added after fully charging the battery. If your battery charger has an equalize function it is best to add water after equalizing the battery. Prior to charging, there must be sufficient water to cover the plates. If the battery has been discharged (partially or fully), the water level should still be above the plates. How do I know when my battery needs water? We recommend that batteries are watered on a dedicated schedule to ensure that all batteries get watered.

Installation:

Remove vent caps and insert manifold assembly
Press manifold home
Secure valves by rotating each valve 1/4 turn clockwise
Install tubing
Install fill caps

Operation:

Qualify water supply. Verify a minimum of 2 gpm
Remove dust cover
Mate couplers
Observe flow indicator. The red balls inside the flow indicator will spin to show that the water is flowing into the battery
When balls stop moving, disconnect.
Replace dust cover
