Description | Easily removes gum, stickers, wax build-up and multiple layers of floor finish. Razor sharp blade eliminates strenuous scraping on all hard surface floors, including vinyl and resilient tile, and flat and smooth surfaces, while the Blunt blade is best suited for delicate, uneven floors.
| Defoam is a concentrated white emulsion formulated to quickly eliminate foam in vacuum recovery tanks of hot and cold water extractors, automatic scrubbers and wet vacuums. Defoamers are normally used in situations where a large amount of detergent residue has built up in the carpet.

Content | Ten double-edged carbon steel blades are dispensed one at a time, with a separate compartment for used blades. Unger 4" replacement blades fit the standard Scraper, ErgoTec, and Brute Scrapers. Easily removes gum, stickers, wax build-up, and caked-on dirt. 4-inch scraper heads are angled for better performance, control, and strength. Razor-sharp blades eliminate strenuous scraping on all hard surface floors, including vinyl and resilient tile, and flat and smooth surfaces.
| Excessive foam build up greatly reduces the efficiency of vacuum motors used in carpet cleaning equipment, as a consequence, it is important that a defoamer works rapidly. Our Defoam quickly acts to help prevent foam from being pulled into the vacuum motor, where moisture can cause rust and other damage - as a result, rapid and total elimination of foam is achieved within seconds of exposure to Defoam.
Defoam will eliminate foam in recovery tanks of carpet cleaning equipment, automatic floor scrubbers and wet pickup vacuums within seconds!
Defoam features:
Directions:Carpet extractors: Shake Defoam before using. Pour directly into the recovery tank at a ratio of 1/4 - 1/2 oz. per gallon capacity. An even better method is to pour Defoam directly into the vacuum hose (while the vacuum motors are running) this allows Defoam to line the interior of the hose and recovery tank, making Defoam more effective. *Do Not Add Defoam to carpet cleaning solutions or the solution tank. Wet vacuums: Pour Defoam directly in vacuum tank at a ratio of 1/4 - 1/2 oz. per gallon capacity or into the vacuum hose while the vacuum motor is operating. Application note: When you are extracting carpets and the instruction manual calls for a defoamer or you find the carpet is loaded with chemicals from other carpet cleaning methods, it is important to follow the recommendation and place the correct amount of defoamer into the recovery tank or suck it up through the vacuum hose, whichever they direct. Why? If defoamer is not used in the recovery tank to eliminate foam, the foam from the solution will NOT lift the float up to close off the vacuum system. Instead, it will ride over the float and go straight into the vacuum motor and out the exhaust. If your unit appears to be leaking from the vacuum exhaust, it may not be leaking but actually sucking foam through the vacuum motor due to lack of defoamer. | |
