Aquasnap is a user-friendly, self-contained ATP water sampling swab used with the Hygiena luminometers. This pen-sized ATP water testing swab is easy to use and collects 100 μl of water in the honeycomb-shaped dipper. Aquasnap uses Hygiena €™s unique liquid-stable reagent in place of the freeze-dried enzymes used in other ATP testing devices. Residues, particularly food or organic residue, contain large amounts of ATP. When left on a surface, residues can harbor and grow bacteria, cause cross-contamination, develop biofilm and many other problems that can compromise product quality. After cleaning, all sources of ATP should be significantly reduced. When ATP is brought into contact with Hygiena's unique, liquid-stable reagent, light is emitted in direct proportion to the amount of ATP present. The system measures the amount of light generated and provides information on the level of contamination in seconds.

AquaSnap contains liquid-stable chemistry in the patented Snap-Valve bulb. This unique chemistry and design eliminates the need to reconsititute lyophilized pellets, enabling consistent results. The plastic jaws firmly grip the mop head and allows for quick mop changes, while they hold the mop firmly between the jaws of the mop handle. This mop handle is designed to hold wide band wet mops, those with a headband size of 5 inches, this is considered wide band. The non-marking head won't damage or scratch floors when mopping.

Directions:

Simply place a wet mop between the clamping jaws and rotate the locking collar. The teeth on the face of the jaws will firmly grasp the headband of any standard wide-band wet mop. To remove the mop simply rotate the clamping collar and the mop will discharge.
