This concentrated Carpet Cleaner is a highly effective cleaner and deodorizer, it's low foaming properties prevent build up in your recovery tank. Formulated for use with all types of carpet steam cleaning or extraction equipment and with all bonnet spray cleaning systems. It is recommended for the cleaning of any carpet made of color fast fibers, but its unique odor neutralizing feature makes it ideal for use in nursing homes, hospitals, locker rooms, children's nurseries, restaurants, and other locations where odors might develop before or after cleaning.

Content

Carpet Cleaner / Deodorizer and Hard Surface Disinfectant for Institutional and Healthcare Use: This product cleans and deodorizes the carpet. It can be used in industrial and institutional areas such as motels, hotels chains, nursing homes and hospitals. This product neutralizes musty odors and tough odors from smoke, pet accidents, and spills on contact. This product is specially formulated to effectively eliminate offensive odors cause by mold and mildew. Can be used on hard non-porous surfaces as well as carpets.

Packaging

Directions:

Vacuum carpet thoroughly prior to application.
Mix 2 ounces of product per gallon of water.
Follow the Injection and/or Extraction procedures as specified for any conventional cleaning equipment you are using.
For rotary floor machines, mix 4 ounces per gallon of water and spray on carpet at a rate of 300-500 sq. ft. per gallon.
For use on washable synthetic fibers. Do not use on wool. Test for color fastness of carpet before use. Apply diluted product to a small concealed spot and then rub with a clean white cloth. If color changes or transfers to cloth, a water based product should not be used.

High profile loops of cotton/synthetic yarn are ideal for using on carpets in high traffic areas where drying time needs to be quick. These Carpet Bonnets, recommended by carpet experts, are specially designed with a unique combination of both looped and cut ends. Blended bonnets are composed of 50 percent cotton, 40 percent rayon and 10 percent polyester.

The cut ends absorb while the looped ends continue to scrub your carpets clean.
Very efficient for carpet drying as well.
Machine washable up to 40 times.
The carpet bonnet is supposed to be changed or turned when the pad surface stops absorbing soil, this is normally between 500-700 square feet per pad side.

Laundering:

These pads clean easily without bleach and are safe for almost any carpet. Do not use bleach or fabric softener when laundering. Air dry for longest life. Do not exceed 130 degrees. If a dryer is used, use lowest setting. May shrink 1/2 to 3/4 inch after laundering.

The Proper Method of Bonnet Cleaning Your Carpet

The bonnet system of surface cleaning is a "Surface Cleaning System". When properly executed in your housekeeping program, the bonnet system plays an integral role in your plan with minimal cost. If done properly, this method can enhance a carpet's appearance with surprising results.

Procedure:

Vacuum the carpeted areas and remove all obvious spots and stains prior to bonnet cleaning your carpet surface.
Place wet floor signs at easy-to-see locations near the entrances into the area being cleaned.
Premix the Recapture encapsulating detergent with the proper amount of HOT water. Fill the appropriate spray tank with the pre-mixed detergent and pressurize your tank. Mix in small batches, this will keep the water temperature high.
Spray carpet bonnet with the pre-mixed solution of detergent and spray an area of carpet (10' x 10') with the same detergent, holding the nozzle of the sprayer at least 12" above floor surface.
Allow the detergent to dwell on the carpet for at 1-2 minutes.
Place the floor machine with the bonnet and agitate carpet surface with floor machine and move in a left to right pattern (overlapping by one quarter) and continue on. Average dry times range from 20 to 30 minutes, depending on relative humidity condition.
Allow carpet to thoroughly dry before removing Wet Floor signs and opening to traffic. Carpet Blowers will aid in the drying process.
Post vacuum the carpet within 6-8 hours. The crystallizing technology of Recapture is designed so that the encapsulated soil could be extracted through routine post-vacuuming.

*Some Carpet manufacturers, especially those who manufacture Olefin carpets, advise against bonnet cleaning. This type of cleaning may actually void some carpet warranties.
