| Description | Yellow Twister pads are designed for use when removing fine scratches from concrete, marble, terrazzo and epoxy floors. When used properly, they will condition your floors to prepare them for the Green Twister pads. It is best to make 5-8 passes across the entire floor while keeping the floor wet with water.
| The DiamaScreen 220 grit screen provides aggressive scratch removal and removes surface imperfections and stains on concrete, natural stone and terrazzo floors. It is our most aggressive screen used for floor restoration. Ideal for use on standard speed floor machines and automatic scrubbers up to 350 rpm pad speed.

The usable side of the pad is colored in brown - when the brown turns gray it's time to change the pad. All Twister pads are clearly identified using the standard color marking system, Red-400 grit, White-800, Yellow-1500 grit, Green-3000 grit.Directions:Cleaning Methods Using Twister PadsProgram: Twister Standard A three-step process that is performed during the standard cleaning routine. For optimal results each Twister step normally requires 2-3 weeks of operating with neutral floor cleaners, depending on the condition of the floor when you start the process. No extra time or human effort is required for the Twister Standard method. Use Twister White during daily maintenance until a clean and uniform surface appears. Change to Twister Yellow and increase the luster, now the brilliance of the floor appears. Continue the process with Twister Green and the result will be an incomparably shiny and clean floor. For daily maintenance use Twister Green to maintain the floors shine and splendor. Program: Twister Intensive Exactly the same process as Twister Standard, although with each step being run through for 5-7 consecutive passes. The Twister Intensive method is performed outside the standard cleaning routine. Twister Intensive has the advantage of immediately upgrading the floor. Depending on the machine efficiency and the initial wear on the floor, large areas can be finished in one working day. On stone floors use Neutral Stone Cleaner during the upgrade phase. Program: Twister Extreme This is the ultimate method for creating extreme shine and luster. The floor is polished with a high-speed machine and Twister Green pad. All types of high-speed machines can be used.Expected Pad LifeWhen using a standard speed floor machine or automatic floor scrubber the life of a floor pad is between 200,000 - 250,000 square feet per pad. 220 Grit Heavy Scratch Removal ScreenThis 220 grit screen when used on concrete or terrazzo will remove heavy surface scratches, orange peel (terrazzo) and imperfections in preparation for the next screen used in the process, 400 grit. If a higher level of gloss is preferred we recommend implementing the Twister pad system or the 400 grit Orange DiamaScreen as your next step. The screens are sold in pairs and include (1) pad safety ring (centering ring), available in the following sizes: 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20 inch diameter.
How much surface area can I cover with a DiamaScreen? DiamaScreens can cover up to 30,000 square feet using a standard 350 rpm floor machine. Bear in mind, this assumes making one pass on a floor. If the floor requires 3 passes to achieve the desired results, your coverage will be 10,000 square feet per screen or 20,000 per case of 2 screens. Directions:DiamaScreens are available in 3 grits:
Heavily scratched floors may require starting with 400 or 220 grit screens. Use the 600 grit for producing a satin smooth surface. DiamaScreens are designed for use with water (not for dry use). | |
