Description

All purpose screen discs for wood and concrete floors
Average life of a screen discs when used on a wood floor surface is 300 - 400 square feet using both sides
Average life of a screen disc is between 100 - 150 square feet per disc when used on concrete using both sides

The Green Twister pads are designed to produce a high gloss when used after the white and yellow twister pads. These pads can also be used for daily maintenance with a high-speed floor machine to maintain the high gloss. Twister pads are an excellent way to maintain your marble, terrazzo, concrete and epoxy floors without the use of harsh chemicals. These pads simply require water to be misted onto the floor during use. The Twister process is also much simpler than completely stripping and refinishing floors.

Twister Green is the ideal pad for use on automatic scrubbers.
Use this pad to maintain that high gloss shine on concrete and terrazzo floors.

Sanding Screens (Screen Discs) - Mesh screen disc with strong fiber, uniform open construction and consistent cut from start to finish. Sanding Screens are an open mesh fabric heavily coated with silicon carbide abrasive. Its durable, open weave mesh design is non-loading and coated on both sides for longer lasting reversible wet or dry use. Sanding Screens are available in a number of different mineral grades: 60, 80, 100, 120 and 150 grit.

For refinishing wood gymnasium floors and racquetball courts at schools and sports facilities.
For preparing wood, concrete or other floors for coating or recoating using conventional sealers or finishes.
60-80 grit screens are often used for the removal of concrete coatings while the 100-150 grit are generally used for wood floor preparation.
Average life expectancy for screen discs when used on wood floors is 300-400 square feet per disc.
When used on concrete floors coverage will vary from 100-150 square feet per disc.

Screen Tip: Screens can be rinsed and reused to prolong sanding life. Rinsing the screens removes any debris or build up in the screen, exposing a fresh cutting surface. Always place a RED pad between the screen disc and the pad holder.

Directions for use:

Lay screen on floor
Place a red floor pad on top to use as a drive pad
Place a standard speed floor machine (175-300 rpm) with a the proper (balanced) pad holder on top of the pad and screen
Operate machine as normal

Twister Diamond Floor Pads are formulated to maintain and refresh Terrazzo, honed or polished natural stone, marble and concrete floors. These pads may be used in conjunction with daily scrubbing procedures or as a separate maintenance procedure.

Twister Green Pad

Final step for the Standard or Intensive method and also for daily maintenance of the floor. This step will effectively maintain a high gloss on the surface when used regularly. Twister Green is ideal for use on all floor surfaces such as stone, vinyl and linoleum floors. For high-speed polishing of terrazzo and natural stone surfaces. Twister Green is also very effective in polishing LVT, Nora and pure vinyl floors. Make 4-6 passes dry with a high burnisher for best results. Twister Green is also used as a cleaning pad under an auto scrubber on a daily basis.

All Twister floor pads are gray in color with the correct indicator color dot placed on the face of the pad. The usable side of the pad is colored in brown - when the brown turns gray it's time to change the pad. All Twister pads are clearly identified using the standard color marking system, Red-400 grit, White-800, Yellow-1500 grit, Green-3000 grit.

Cleaning Methods Using Twister Pads

Program: Twister Standard A three-step process that is performed during the standard cleaning routine. For optimal results each Twister step normally requires 2-3 weeks of operating with neutral floor cleaners, depending on the condition of the floor when you start the process. No extra time or human effort is required for the Twister Standard method. Use Twister White during daily maintenance until a clean and uniform surface appears. Change to Twister Yellow and increase the luster, now the brilliance of the floor appears. Continue the process with Twister Green and the result will be an incomparably shiny and clean floor. For daily maintenance use Twister Green to maintain the floors shine and splendor. Program: Twister Intensive Exactly the same process as Twister Standard, although with each step being run through for 5-7 consecutive passes. The Twister Intensive method is performed outside the standard cleaning routine. Twister Intensive has the advantage of immediately upgrading the floor. Depending on the machine efficiency and the initial wear on the floor, large areas can be finished in one working day. On stone floors use Neutral Stone Cleaner during the upgrade phase. Program: Twister Extreme This is the ultimate method for creating extreme shine and luster. The floor is polished with a high-speed machine and Twister Green pad. All types of high-speed machines can be used.

Expected Pad life

When using a standard speed floor machine or automatic floor scrubber the life of a floor pad is between 200,000 - 250,000 square feet per pad. If using the Twister pad with a high speed burnisher (1500 -2000 rpm) the expected life of the pad is between 50,000 - 75,000 square feet per pad.
