The Blue Ice High Performance Burnishing Pad is a high-quality floor maintenance pad, made of synthetic fiber, with resins throughout and bonded to the web structure. This burnishing floor pad has been optimized for use on softer floor finishes where frequent burnishing is required and is designed for frequent burnishing with less dust, fewer burn marks, and swirl marks.

Versatile, this pad works with battery, propane, and cord electric burnishers.

General Use Directions:

1. Dust mop and clean the floor surface. Use the Microfiber Fusion dust mop for effective dusting.
2. Install the Blue Ice Burnish Pad on a high-speed burnisher. It may be a corded electric, battery, or propane burnisher.
3. Burnish to a high gloss using overlapping passes.
4. Dust mop floor surface with a Microfiber Fusion dust mop.

Floor Pad Maintenance:

1. After burnishing, if the next burnishing will be with the same pad, leave the pad on the burnisher. Otherwise, remove the pad and store it.
2. Examine the pad and remove excessive dust and debris using the center "knock-out" disk.
3. Flip the pad periodically.
4. Discard the pad if the thickness decreases to the point where pad holder hooks extend completely through the pad.

Floor Pad Tip: The small circular cut-out in the center of the floor pad is for cleaning the pad. Simply remove it and brush the surface of the pad (both sides), re-insert it back in the center hole, and reuse it in the future.

Steel Wool Pads for Marble and Terrazzo Crystallization

The use of steel wool pads and "Leopard L-2" creates a chemical reaction between it and the stone surface. As with traditional polishing systems, the transformed surface produces a highly improved almost mirror-like reflective finish with a degree of slip resistance.

*A personal side note; once you have successfully polished your floor using Leopard L-2 crystallizer and steel wool it is imperative you thoroughly sweep, dust mop and / or vacuum the entire floor. If any fibers of steel wool are left behind, the next time you mop your floor with water the wool fibers will rust and transfer onto your newly polished floor. The results will be disastrous.
